How to install RAM in motherboard gaming pc build For beginners ( custom PC build in india)

Installing the RAM is the easiest way in the custom PC building Process. If  you have an inexpensive or low grade gaming PC, then upgrading the RAM is the best way to increase the performance of your PC.  

In this guide, we'll going through the process Step By Step

Step 1 -  Disconnect the power cable from your system, If needed then disconnect all the back panel cables .

Step 2 - If you're upgrading your gaming pc then remove the side and back panel of the cabinet or if you've new system then put  your motherboard on a flat surface .

Step 3 -  If you're upgrading your gaming pc then you need to eject the old RAM sticks.

These slots have typically two tab on a each side, which use to lock the sticks 

Press these tab down to eject the sticks out of the motherboard.

Step 4 -  Look at the motherboard manual to determine the correct slot where your new RAM should install . Some motherboards prefer second and fourth slots , Other prefer first and third.

Step 5 - Before the installing the RAM  make sure that the locking tab should be open so you can easily install the RAM in your gaming pc build.

Step 6 -  Note that you can only install RAM one specific way. look at the sticks metal connecters there is a notch that divide the stick into 6:4 .

Step 7 - When you're sure that RAM is line up properly. press the stick with your thumbs gently until the stick lock in place. 

Step 8 - Once all sticks click into their slots , confirm that the clips are locked in to hold the sticks in place .
